We made it! We’re here. We are so excited to launch this corner piece to our puzzle. So without further ado – Welcome to our blog: “Remembering You.” Maria and I are so excited to have you here as we embark on the next step of our journey. For us, in this space, there is nothing we won’t discuss so hold on to your pants! Recipes, top amazon purchases, favorite books, what its like to grieve while being a mom, ALL. OF. IT. So buckle up and join us as we continue to fight FTD, dig deeper in to the dark places and enjoy the light, and always…. ALWAYS accept the good. 

Maria, speak on it!

You guys, I’m so nervous! I’ve never written a blog! I can be really self-conscious with my writing but Rachael is cheering me on. You will see, Rachael is so talented with her words. I think you guys are going to love the blog. We see it as a way to continue the conversation and provide a space for more connection, vulnerability and healing. But anyway - for those of you who don’t know me, I’m Maria! I spend my days chasing my spirited little boy around Boston. I’m married to my college love, Mike. We are obsessed with our goofy english bulldog, Porter, who sleeps and snores all day. I love to live a creative life - I own a business called Art Junk Studios, teaching art journaling classes and carrying on my mama’s legacy. Besides being artsy, my favorite thing in the world is good conversation- especially a long heart-to-heart! I am a phone talker - is that weird? I call my friends daily--RACHAEL INCLUDED, obviously.

Hey guys, I’m Rachael and I’m so happy to have you here. I live in sunny Southern California with my two littles, my husband and our cat who literally has 9 lives. I will always take the sunny seat at the table and I will ALWAYS encourage dance parties in the kitchen. I obtained my masters in clinical psych with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy and although I’m not practicing, I’m obsessed with how people interact and how we relate to one and other. Beyond that, my obsessions include but aren’t limited to: my sweet little fam, Justin Timberlake, *learning* how to be mindful and in the moment, a good nail color, Italian food and …. Tequila.
