So We’re Off…

After careful consideration, numerous calls, tons of texts (just kidding, it’s not that serious!)…. Maria and I have decided to let you all in on a little secret. It’s actually not that little. It’s huge. At least for us. The two of us have never been in the same room, looked at each other in the eye, hugged, walked side by side. None of it. As the world s l o w l y starts to spin again, we figured there is no time like the present. 

So we’re off… 

We both have articulated shades of mom guilt, nervousness to fly, and an anxious stomach to really take the next step – but, you guys! It’s all so beautiful, don’t you think? Maria and I have such a deep connection, built on two separate journeys that mirror one another. We are beyond grateful we get to have the entire experience. We truly are accepting the good. 

We have talked endlessly about what Lia and Frank would think of all this. The podcast, the connection, the community, all of it. Although we will never truly know, our hunches point to big smiles and warm hearts. We know they’d be proud. WE are proud. 

I bet you’re wondering when I’m going to announce where we are headed… well, guys – there’s no time like the present.
